Diane Levitt is the Sr. Director of K-12 Education for Cornell Tech. She drives Cornell Tech’s engagement with the NYC K-12 computing education community, including the Dept. of Education’s CSforAllNYC initiative. The K-12 teams’ work includes the Teacher in Residence content coaching initiative, the CS Coaching Toolkit, and the development of computational thinking tasks integrated into math and ELA.  Diane is the Principal Investigator of the CT to CS RPP. She participates in the ad hoc advisory group supporting NSF’s Broadening Participation in Computing (BFC) Plans and convenes Cornell Tech’s annual To Code + Beyond conference. Diane received a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College, and a Bachelor of Science in Women’s Studies and Anthropology from Barnard College, Columbia University.
